Conductor and Pianist
M. Hartenberg was born in Vienna (Austria). He studied Conducting
in Vienna and Salzburg. During his studies he directed numerous
opera projects, which were initiated by himself. There he gained
his first leadership competence. After his studies, he started a
career as a young musical director at a public opera house.
In 1986 he founded the "Musikseminar Hamburg GmbH", a
professionally managed private music academy with completely new
educational system (officially recognized). He was member of the
board until 2007 and taught conducting and music history. At
the moment he is in charge of building up an "International
Choir Academy" at Freiburg / South Germany.
Apart from conducting various concerts as a worldwide asked for
conductor and pianist. he has developed a new training concept together
with the "Institut fuer Systementwicklung und Systemsteuerung"
(ISS).
This special training concept offers the possibility to adapt
the specific leadership experience of a music conductor to executives
in companies.

Bernd Glathe (Master of Business Administration) and
Susan Glathe (Psychologist) are the holders of ISS. They have
